In the lead up to Christmas, the Shop! team are in POP-Watch mode taking snapshots of the POP displays, visual merchandising and windows that catch our attention. We would love you to share in-store photos that you take to help us deliver the most comprehensive visual report of what is about this season!


Your Brief

In a year like no other with unique challenges set to retailers, we are expecting to see many retailers taking advantage of new fast-tracked retrieval options such as curb side pick-up and ‘buy online pick up in-store’. It will be exciting to see the innovations from a shopper experience point of view, that meet customer expectations in the new-normal retail environment.

In our ‘2019 Retail Display Trends report’ we talked about physical retailing not being dead, but that we were in a phase of ‘playing catch up retail’. Nobody had any idea of the curveball 2020 would present, but now more than ever content (what is being sold) and experience (how it’s being sold), is more important than ever. We’ve had to play catch-up faster than anyone would have imagined.

We are certain what will be experienced this Christmas will showcase more newness than ever before, but not all retail display solutions need to showcase a ground-breaking innovation to be an inspiration!

Whether it be about transactional, personalisation, discounts and deals, experiential, selfie-moments, gift inspiration, or simply being absorbed by the Christmas sharing moment, every display has a story. We invite Shop! ANZ members to share in-store photos with us to help us complete the story!
