Collaborations and alliances generate original retail experiences:

Collaborations in retail are not new, but in the recent past have primarily been relegated to alliances between retailers and brands to position products and drive traffic. Now, however, we are seeing partnerships forming in innovative ways to uniquely impact the customer experience. Starbucks and Spotify. Walmart and BuzzFeed. J.Crew, WeWork, and LinkedIn, to name a few. Technologies, suppliers, and platforms are intertwining with retailers and brands.
