BARE Hygiene sets a new benchmark

BARE Hygiene sets a new benchmark in hand sanitisation solutions for retailers.

Seeing a gap in the market for premium, well designed hand sanitisation units, leading events and exhibitions company DisplayWise pivoted their business creating a totally unique solution perfectly suited to the Australian retail market.

During an unprecedented year, businesses both large and small have faced extensive challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. With many examples of businesses pivoting in recent months, diversification has become the key to getting through this period.

Leading events and exhibitions company, DisplayWise, along with their sister company Creative Hire, felt the immediate impact of the health crisis, with their industry effectively shut down overnight.

Seeking to utilise existing expertise in Industrial Design and manufacturing, BARE Hygiene was born, providing retailers with a stylish solution to meet the COVID-19 requirements for hand sanitisation.

“There was a clear gap in the market for premium, well designed hand sanitisation units, and being designed and made in Australia, we could be quick to market with our solution,” commented DisplayWise CEO, Dylan Retif.

“We saw that need and we moved quickly to design, protype, test, produce and market a new range unlike anything currently available. It all happened very quickly; we developed the range in under four weeks”.

Setting a new benchmark in both aesthetics and functionality, BARE Hygiene incorporates the Contemporary, Endure, Vogue and Luxe ranges, with freestanding, countertop and wall-mounted options. All units come in a choice of premium finishes and can be custom branded to suit.

Group Marketing Director Lisa Cachia said the range was inspired by the array of clients the company has worked with throughout its nearly twenty years’ experience building displays.

“We designed the range with many of our existing clients in mind. We work with a range of premium brands in industries including retail, technology, professional services, automotive and hospitality. The range provides these businesses with a far superior option as opposed to a bottle of hand sanitiser on a counter. We have given them the choice of several aesthetically striking designs that can really complement their space”.

Not surprisingly, retailers have been very responsive to the BARE Hygiene offering.

“The first thing customers now do when they enter a store is sanitise their hands, hence providing a premium, branded experience at the store entry is something retailers have acknowledged,” Cachia added. Joining a growing list of household brands, leading Australian department store chain, MYER, is just one of the latest retailers to invest in BARE Hygiene units for their stores nationwide.

Despite the further easing of restrictions, the company expects demand for the BARE range to continue to grow, as businesses and retailers look for permanent options to provide a safe environment for customers and employees.

DisplayWise also continues to work extensively in the retail space, helping clients with showroom fitouts, experiential activations and point of sale requirements.
