New Shop! Award honours Australian and New Zealand producers, the CENTRUM Produced in ANZ Award!
Passionate about supporting our local manufacturing industry, Shop! Australia and New Zealand has created an award to recognise local designers and producers of retail marketing.
In its inaugural year, the Produced in ANZ category is being sponsored by Shop! members CENTRUM PRINTING. It was no surprise that CENTRUM decided to support Shop! ANZ in sponsoring this award that has been on the Shop! teams “dream new award list” for quite some time!
CENTRUM’s core values are based around providing opportunity and growth for future generations in Australian Manufacturing. With 25 years’ experience specialising in small to large format printing of POS and Packaging products, CENTRUM is a fantastic fit in sponsoring the Produced in ANZ category.
CENTRUM offers site to tours for all and to students to provide education about the printing and industry processes. They also offer school-based traineeships and get involved with trade readiness programs to help promote print manufacturing to the next generation.
Speaking about supporting the local industry, CENTRUM PRINTING’s Chief Executive Officer Sandra Duarte said,
It’s about creating community awareness of this great industry to the next generation as well as empowering more young women to enter the male dominated arena and know that they can make a difference.
We’re passionate about promoting Australian Made and keeping manufacturing local to support the economy and provide employment.
We also understand the pressures that COVID has had on our economy and with this in mind saw the development of the ‘No Touch Sanitizer Unit’ being offered Free of Charge to businesses, schools, organisations and communities. We can all do our part in supporting each other during times of uncertainty.

About the CENTRUM Produced in ANZ Award
The Australian & New Zealand POP manufacture and design market has changed remarkably since the Awards were founded in 1997. To help support our local, domestic industry to survive and thrive, we have introduced the Produced in ANZ category to reward homegrown manufacturing and design.
To be eligible, all design, processing of raw materials, assembly and packing of the primary elements of the display must be carried out in Australia or New Zealand by an ANZ-based business. A list of excluded display elements includes complete components purchased outside of Australia and raw materials. This Award has a minimum production run of 25 displays.
