POPAI RUSSIA AWARDS 2020 WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
POPAI Russia held an exhibition two weeks ago, showcasing retail marketing activations entered into their annual awards.
This year, despite all the restrictions and changes in dates, 350 entries were submitted to the competition!
240 awards entries were on show on the physical show floor, and 110 entries were submitted online for categories like “Shop-in-Shop”, which are not able to be rebuilt in the exhibition space format.
From the 1200 square meter physical showcase, emerged 27 nominations for awards, from 45 companies consisting of creative agencies, brand manufacturers, POP producers and retailers.
A team of 100 retail marketing professionals were part of the esteemed judging team.
Last Thursday, September 26, winners were announced at their gala celebration.
Winning nomination for the ‘Shop-in-Shop’ category went to ‘Trans-Siberian Express’ for Coca-Cola.
This POP display has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records of Russia. It is 30 meters long and holds 25,000 bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite.
The ‘Trans-Siberian Express’ was installed in hypermarket at Novosibirsk.
